Type: Raw (sheng) young pu-erh.
Crop year: 2016.
Origin: Menghai County, Yunnan Province, China.
Raw tea leaves are harvested from Bulang and Nannuo mountains and then combined to make this dragon ball tea.
Even though this tea has been aged for 4 years, it is still quite young and has not turned into a dark and earthy appearance like older pu-erh teas do. Externally, the leaves are clear and uniform. After 4 years of aging, the taste becomes smooth with a silky aftertaste, more so than newer teas.
Each ball weighs 7-8 grams, packed in individual packaging, so it is very convenient to take it with you on a business trip, vacation or weekend trip.
Dive guide: This is sheng cha, raw young pu-erh, and is best for Gaiwan style or, if you're looking for an easier way to brew without the hassle, Western style.
Ideal for: Those who love raw young pu-erh, especially one that is smoother and silkier in taste and less bitter. Also great to carry anywhere thanks to the extremely convenient individual packaging. Enjoy and let us know how you like it!
