Type: Raw (sheng) young puerh
Harvest year: 2016
Origin: Menghai county, Yunnan province, China
The raw tea leaves are harvested from Bulang mountain and Nannuo mountain, and then combined to make this dragon ball tea.
Even though this tea is aged for 4 years, it is still quite young and has not developed into dark and earthy kind, as older aged puerh tends to do. Externally, the leaves are clear and uniform. After 4 years of aging the taste is smooth with silky finish, more so than the newer tea.
Each ball weighs 7-8 grams, individually wrapped, making it very easy to carry on a business trip, a holiday or weekend getaway.
Steeping guide:
This being a sheng cha, raw young pu-erh, it is best suited for Gaiwan style, or if you’re looking for a simpler, no-hassle way of brewing, a Western style.
Perfect for: those who love raw young puerh, particularly the one with more smooth and silky, and less bitter taste. Also great for carrying with you anywhere due to extremely convenient individual wrapping. Enjoy, and let us know how you like it!
