Type: Ripe (shu) puerh
Harvest year: 2016
Origin: Menghai county, Yunnan province, China
Menghai Banzhang is made by using small and tender tea leaves, which is quite a different style as compared to large, more mature tea leaves. This makes the speed of steeping faster. The tea liquor is light and clear, the taste is fragrant, sweet and mellow, with the delicate and smooth finish.
Steeping guide:
This being a shu (aged) puerh, it is well suited to brewing in a Western style, or our favourite simple, no-hassle style.
Perfect for: everyday enjoyment, this tea is a perfect proof that a good quality, delicious puerh tea doesn’t need to be expensive, and conversely, the higher price doesn’t always guarantee a better, more enjoyable cup of tea.Customer Reviews
